What’s Next?

Hello! It’s been too long since I have touched base but I assure you that I have been diligently working towards pursuing my purpose.

I’ve reached the end of this part of the journey and I am already thinking,”What’s Next?”

Truth is, I really don’t know what’s next except to keep pushing forward. I know God has big plans for my life and I am positive I will succeed in whatever direction he takes me. I know I am leading by example for my children and for those who may not know just how capable they are.

I am enjoying the process because the journey is never truly over. Life is a continuation of obstacles and achievements. The time seems to fly by  no matter how we choose to spend it so we might as well make the most of it.

I want to encourage you that you are capable and it is possible. Don’t give up on yourself because it is never too late to make progress towards your goals. I have said it before and I am sure that I will say it again,

“You can be content without being complacent. Don’t allow the fear of failure prevent you from pursuing your dreams. Take that leap of faith and see where it lands you!”

I am really excited for this event. If you know me, you know that my passion is to inspire women to find self-love. I have been interning with The Wright State University Women’s Center to coordinate THE LOVE YOUR BODY MOVEMENT and it is a blessed opportunity as I know that this is part of my purpose. I want you to know that you’re capable of anything. I want to encourage you to be your best-self and help you to realize your worth and true potential. I want to inspire you to find love from the inside out. I want you to know that you’re enough and perfect just the way you are. You are beautiful. You are worthy and I believe that you can do anything! Come out to celebrate the kick off of Body Positivity Week with the LOVE YOUR BODY MOVEMENT. Come out to embrace the skin you’re in. Come out to Walk, Roll, Dance, Jump, Stretch, Flex, Breath, Relax and MOVE for the love of your body!

Perception is Everything; Perfectly Imperfect

The hard work and dedication pays off but the blessed reminder that this belly right here carried 3 beautifully amazing, healthy kiddos all at once! I didn’t just bounce back and I am still a work in progress in every way but I will never stop moving forward. We all have flaws. We all have good angles and look better in the right lighting. Don’t judge yourself so harshly because it will only hold you back from making progress. Stop comparing yourself to others because EVERYONE has flaws and EVERYONE struggles with something. The perception of perfection is a lie. Embrace your perfectly imperfect self and learn to love the incredible body your in. After all, It’s the only one you have!

Level Up

When offered the chance to take a leap of faith, JUMP! Sure, you could stay in your comfortable little bubble, but imagine the possibilities of what could follow the leap. The fear of the unknown holds us back time and time again. Our time is limited so let’s make the most of it. You could land flat on your face but I guarantee that you won’t regret it because you’ll never know if you don’t take that chance. Believe that you are capable and you will find yourself soaring beyond what you ever thought was possible. You can be content without being complacent! Stop letting the fear of failure keep you from living your dreams. Your purpose is greater than you can imagine so take that leap and see where it lands you. I believe in you!
